ToolTasker ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how your files are handled.

Files you upload

Most tools run entirely in your browser, so those files are never uploaded to our servers — we never see, read, store, sell, or share them. (The few advanced conversions below are the exception.)

Information we collect

We collect minimal, anonymized analytics (such as which tools are popular) to improve the service. We may use cookies for preferences like dark mode and to support advertising on free pages.

Advanced conversions

Most tools run entirely in your browser. A small number of advanced conversions (PDF to/from Word and Excel, and PDF compression) send your file over an encrypted connection to a trusted third-party conversion provider (ConvertAPI) which processes it and deletes it automatically shortly afterward. We never store these files ourselves.

Contact form

When you message us through the contact page, your name, email and message are sent via our form provider (Web3Forms) and delivered to our inbox. We use this information only to respond to you.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Free pages on ToolTasker may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show ads based on your visits to our site and other sites on the Internet.
